Sessional Lead Coach
Multi-sport/gym sessions - mental health sessions (adults)

We are looking for a reliable and committed coach to facilitate weekly sports sessions. The sessions will take place every Friday afternoon at Manningham Sports Centre (Bradford) and Lynfield Mount Hospital (days/times to be confirmed).

It is essential that the coach has excellent leadership skills and also good communication/social skills.

The Lead Coach must have experience of working with people with mental health problems.

The role involves supporting patients with mental health problems to participate in sport and developing personalised gym programmes.

The patients thrive on consistency therefore it is very important that the person is reliable and committed to their role.

Rate of pay: £15 p/h (rate to be reviewed after a trial period).
Qualifications: Level 2 qualification - personal trainer/gym instructor. Level 3 desirable.

Other information: A current DBS/CRB is essential. Proof of qualifications is essential. The candidate must also hold public liability insurance.

Sessional work staff

We are currently recruiting a pool of sessional staff to assist with the delivery of our children and young people’s projects. These sessions predominately take place during the school holidays.
Rate of pay: £8-£10 per hour(dependent upon experience).
Essential skills:

  • Direct experience of working with children and young people with complex needs (communication and sensory difficulties)
  • Team teach & first aid trained
  • Knowledge and awareness of safeguarding procedures


  • Already working within a special school setting (preferably secondary school)
