Mental Health Matters

Equality For All C.I.C. has been commissioned to deliver sport within a clinical environment.  This project is innovative and responds directly to the needs of the patients.

Venue: Lynfield Mount Hospital, Heights Lane, BD9 6DP

  • The project aims to promote participation in sports for adults experiencing acute mental health problems.
  • The project is targeted at vulnerable people who are unable to access sport within their own communities due to health and social barriers.
  • The project will be delivered within the grounds of an acute mental health hospital.
  • The project creates a sense of independence and promotes the health and wellbeing of all participants.  A pathway will also be offered to the patients upon discharge which will promote further participation in sports.

Activities delivered:

  • Multi-sport sessions and yoga (female ward)
